Should I Start a Photobooth Business in 2020?

Starting any new business, including a photobooth business, is something that should be thought about and considered carefully. After all, any new business is going to take time, dedication, and a lot of grit, especially in the beginning.

So, is a photobooth business right for you?

Well, there’s no doubt that starting your very own photobooth event company can be incredibly rewarding.

Who doesn’t want to go to parties everyday for their job? Right?

However, just like any other business, starting a photobooth company will take some time and effort.

But, do you know what the best part about owning a photobooth business is?

It’s actually not *that* hard.

Yeah, I said it. It’s really not. Think about it.

Let’s compare being a photobooth business owner to being a photographer.

If you’re a photographer, sure you’re in the event and photo industry, that’s true. But, what does being a photographer entail?

Well, it means a lot of hours running around endlessly, sweating, and trying to get the perfect shot.

But that’s not it.

You then have to go home, edit the photos, upload them, and deliver them to your client.

At the end of the day, photographers spend a lot of time working their craft and getting their work to their clients.

And what about a photobooth, you may ask?

Well, if you choose the right photobooth, you may need to set it up, let it run, tear it down, and … oh wait. That’s it.

Do you understand what I mean now?

This is why I’m a firm believer in iPad-based photobooths with easy to run software. Take Photobooth Supply Co’s Salsa booth, for example.

Their software is simple, straight forward, easy to use and the hardware is light-weight, easy to transport, and has everything you need.

And before you ask, no. I’m not being sponsored by them. I just honestly believe it’s a great booth to start your business with.

And that’s really the idea, after all. Find yourself some hardware (and software!) that works for you.

But literally, that works FOR you. The less you have to do, the better. And if you know how to show value and share with your clients what your booth can really offer, you’ll be on an amazing road to success. Guaranteed.
